The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.

Enlisting the support of Robin as your doula means feeling confident in receiving accurate, evidence based information that fits your parenting philosophy. Continuity of prenatal and postpartum support for your family means better outcomes for the whole family.

My Doula Philosophy

Empowering Postpartum, Thriving Families: That's the heartbeat of Wild Child Sleep. I see myself as your guide on this incredible journey, equipping you and your partner (if you have one) with the knowledge and confidence to have a truly powerful postpartum experience.

Research shows, loud and clear, that families with strong prenatal, birth, and postpartum support have better outcomes, both mentally and physically, for birthing people and babies. That's why I weave evidence-based practices together with a holistic approach – it's all about giving your entire family the best possible springboard into parenthood.

There's no magic formula for birth or parenting. It's about what feels right for you. I come to the table with my own experiences as a mama, partner, and educator, but I know my job is to leave my own preferences at the door. My focus is on honoring your family's unique story and the goals you have for this exciting new chapter.

Think of me as your partner's champion, not a replacement. I'll help your partner feel confident and prepared to be fully involved in the newborn care adventure.

Here's the truth, as I see it: nurturing new parents from pregnancy all the way through that precious "fourth trimester" is exactly what our world needs right now. Let's embark on this journey together!
